Beach Head

Another week, another hike. This time to Beachy Head in East Sussex. It was horrid weather at home, so we headed for the beach and were surprised by glorious sunshine, albeit cold. But, we hiked the most glorious white cliffs I have ever seen and that little red dot at the bottom...is Nick, climbing the cliff. We have learned that no hike here is complete unless you cut through someone's pasture. That is me, ankle deep in cow dung, about to climb the ladder stile. The moss covered sign posts are the "finger signs" that you look for as you hike. Can you imagine how many times we get lost! Below Matthew is contemplating the strange rocks with a while chalk crust and back centers. all very cool.
